GDPR · what do I need to know?
Per GDPR: visible notice of surveillance, documented legitimate purpose, max 30 days retention (with justified exceptions), restricted access. We help with documentation. -
Can I connect with existing alarm system?
Yes, most modern systems integrate. Alarm trigger can start high-quality recording + phone notification. We check compatibility at audit. -
Works without internet?
Yes for local recording (NVR stores on HDDs). For mobile access or phone alerts, you need internet. We recommend UPS for continuity during outages. -
How often does a system need replacing?
Professional equipment lasts 5-8 years. NVR HDDs are replaced at 3-4 years (periodic check). Outdoor cameras need cleaning at 6 months. We offer optional maintenance contract.
